Alicia Brown is a contemporary realist painter. She holds a BFA in Painting, and a diploma in Art Education from Edna Manley College of the Visual Performing Arts and an MFA in Painting from the New York Academy of Art. Nneka Jones uses embroidery to create moving, representational images, usually portraits, to reflect on social issues. Her astounding love for color and special attention to detail, as influenced by her culture, is prominent in her work. The twenty-three-year old artist graduated with a Bachelors in Fine Arts and a minor in Marketing from the University of Tampa in May 2020. Krystle Lemonias acquired a BFA in printmaking from New Jersey City University in 2018. She is currently a Master’s in Fine Arts candidate at the University of South Florida. Her works have been exhibited at Blum and Poe in the Show Me the Signs campaign for #sayhername and Make America What America Must Become at the Contemporary Art Center in New Orleans.
